Robert A. Morgan

Robert A. Morgan was born in Memphis, Tennessee and moved to Tuscaloosa, Alabama in 1979. He received his Bachelor of Arts in American Studies from the University of Alabama in 1982. Mr. Morgan earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Alabama School of Law in December of 1984 and was admitted to the Alabama State Bar in May of 1985.
Mr. Morgan is licensed to practice before all Alabama courts and the U. S. District Courts for the Northern, Middle, and Southern District of Alabama and the U. S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. His current memberships include the Alabama State Bar, where he has served as the past Chairman of the Bankruptcy and Commercial Law Section, and the National Association of Bankruptcy Trustees. He has served on the panel for Chapter 7 Trustees for the Northern District of Alabama since 1989. He has been an Adjunct Professor teaching in the area of bankruptcy law for the University of Alabama School of Law since 2008. He has served on numerous non-profit boards in the Tuscaloosa area, chairing many of them. Some of the most recent are the Tuscaloosa Symphony Orchestra and the Exchange Club of Tuscaloosa.
