Caty C. Waldrop
Christina Howton, Paralegal
Originally from Demopolis, Alabama, Caty joined Rosen Harwood, P.A., in 2019 after working as an Assistant Public Defender for Tuscaloosa County. Her primary practice areas are civil litigation, environmental, and governmental and regulatory affairs. As a public defender, Caty managed large felony and misdemeanor case loads and gained invaluable courtroom experience as a young lawyer. Representing indigent defendants has prepared her to assist clients with complex issues effectively and compassionately.
Caty graduated magna cum laude from The University of Alabama with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. She then earned her Juris Doctor at The University of Alabama School of Law where she was a member of the Bench and Bar Legal Honor Society and participated in the Civil Law Clinic.
Caty was admitted to the Alabama State Bar in 2017 and is admitted to practice in Alabama state courts as well as all U.S. District Courts in Alabama.
