Blake A. Madison is a shareholder in the firm and practices primarily in the areas of business, corporate, and commercial law; state and local taxation; non‑profit entities; health care compliance; and privacy and cyber security law. He previously served a three-year term on the firm’s Management Committee.
Mr. Madison has served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of The Chamber of Commerce of West Alabama. He is Co-chair of the Board of Trustees for the American Institute on Federal Taxation and has served as Treasurer of the Business Section of the Alabama State Bar. He is also a member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals where he is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (“CIPP/US”).
Mr. Madison is a member of the Mayor's Business Advisory Council. In 2018-2019, he was appointed as Co-Chair of the City of Tuscaloosa's Comprehensive Plan Steering Committee ("FrameWork").
He has participated in reported tax cases before the Alabama Supreme Court, the Alabama Court of Civil Appeals, and the Alabama Tax Tribunal.

Mr. Madison has served as president and a member of the board of directors for the Tuscaloosa Morning Rotary Club and helped to found and establish the Tuscaloosa Morning Rotary Foundation.
He and his wife Susan are active members of the Central Church of Christ in Tuscaloosa, where he served as Chairman of the Vision and Rebuilding Committee in the wake of the devastating EF-4 tornado of April 27, 2011.
