Ms. Tompkins joined Rosen Harwood, P.A. in 2020.  She practices in Litigation, representing clients in federal court and in state court matters in West Alabama as well as advising clients in pre-litigation matters.  Ms. Tompkins graduated magna cum laude from The University of Alabama with a Bachelor of Science in English and Political Science in 1995.  While an undergraduate student, she was selected for membership in Phi Beta Kappa.

A native of Fayette Alabama, Ms. Tompkins earned her Juris Doctorate from The University of Alabama School of Law in 1999.  While in law school, she was a member of the Alabama Law Review, the John A. Campbell Moot Court Board, Bench & Bar Honor Society, and the Jessup International Moot Court Team.

In addition to an extensive career in private practice, Ms. Tompkins served as law clerk to the Honorable Champ Lyons, Jr. of the Alabama Supreme Court and served as an Alabama Assistant Attorney General.  Before joining Rosen Harwood, she was a partner at another civil defense law firm in Tuscaloosa where she practiced for 18 years.  She is AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell.
