Janel C. Beasley practices in the Creditors’ Rights Group. She is a native of Maynard, Massachusetts and moved to Tuscaloosa, Alabama to attend The University of Alabama. During her time at The University of Alabama, she held various leadership positions in her sorority and became integrated in the local community through participating in programs such as Al’s Pals. Janel earned her Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, in public relations from the University of Alabama in 2020. Following this, she attended law school at Samford University Cumberland School of Law and earned her Juris Doctor in 2024. While in law school, Janel earned the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Solo Practice and participated in the Cumberland Legal Veterans Assistance Clinic. 

Janel and her husband, Nick, enjoy traveling, cheering on their favorite collegiate and NFL football teams, and spending time with their dogs, Beau and Clementine.

Janel was admitted to the Mississippi Bar in 2024. She is admitted to practice before Mississippi's U.S. District Courts in the Northern and Southern Districts.
