Joseph Meigs joined Rosen Harwood as an Associate in 2022 after graduating from The University of Alabama School of Law. He practices in the firm’s Business and Real Estate Groups. While in law school, Joseph was a member of the Bench and Bar Legal Honor Society, served on the executive board of the Journal of the Legal Profession, and was the recipient of the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Securities Regulation and Law Office Practice. Additionally, Joseph represented pro bono clients as a student attorney through the school’s Entrepreneurship and Nonprofit Clinic.

Originally from Centreville, Alabama, Joseph has called West Alabama his home for most of his life. He graduated summa cum laude from The University of Alabama in 2019 with his Bachelor of Science in Accounting with a minor in Criminal Justice. During his undergraduate studies, Joseph was a member of various honor societies and served the Tuscaloosa community through the Culverhouse School of Accountancy’s LIFT service-learning program.

Joseph and his wife Kalli Meigs, a registered nurse in Tuscaloosa, enjoy being outside and on the water, spending time with their pets, and attending sporting events at their alma mater.  

Joseph was admitted to the Alabama State Bar in 2022.  He is admitted to practice before Alabama’s U.S. District Courts in the Northern, Middle and Southern Districts.
